well....I finally got to shoot the "beast"....more like a .243 with a LOUD BARK!!

my gun smith Jim Caudill installed the Harrell's brake...

....I found this rifle + dies, brass, (2) sets of rings/bases, (100) Hornady 178 gr. AMAX's, hard case, bunch of once-fired brass, some loaded 150 gr. ammo.....

I am really happy with the Quick Load prescription as well....I went with the MAX COL of 2.860", and got **** lucky, again.

(12) shots @100 yards......this evening was DEAD CALM CONDITIONS for good shooting....

the blast is kinda cool...in a strange way...I was shooting into a slight headwind [< 5 mph]...

..sometimes I would feel the muzzle blast...it definitely helps reducing any muzzle JUMP....

I have to say that I'm jealous. I thought long and hard about buying this rifle but wound up having to wait. It looks great - hope it works out well for you.
