I have a light blaser barrel 23 inches long in .300 Wth mag with 11 twist rate... I would like to have an easier bullet lets say 175gr for hunting up to 400m, what do you recommend?

I'm getting good accuracy from a 308 Win with the Berger 175gr OTM.

Easy to load for, fit the magazine, and decent BC.

Some report good results for hunting. But, I can't say for sure.

You didn't say what you're hunting. But, I suspect 175gr from a big magnum will be pretty potent.

ive shot quite a few deer with my 2 300 wbys using 180 ballistic tips and 180 sciraccos and they allways got the job done.

i will usually shoot the 180s in the weatherby and 165s in the win mag. Dont ask me why though. There really isnt that much differnce. Just the way i allways did it. Im kind of stuck on 150s for the o6/308, 165s for the win mag and the short mag and 180s in the wby.

I understand, but I want really flat trajectories, so i am looking on 165... My .300WM is a long range match rifle so I use in it 210gr bullets...
