Yes. You can. There are several guys on here doing very well with 200+ grain bullets in a 24" bbl.

I'm shooting the 208 gr. AMAX out of my 300 Win with a 24" barrel and im getting a velocity of around 2800 fps. I'm also working with the new 208 gr ELD-M but i havent had a chance to shoot it thru the chrono yet. I will be heading out again Sunday and plan on checking velocity then.

I personally have a 24" Lilja barrel chambered in 300 Win Mag, and it shoots lights out with 200 grain bullets. I shoot at 100 yards regularly.

300win and 215 Bergers make for an awesome combo from what I've read.

My 300win mag with 26" lilja shoots
Rws brass 210 vlds do 2970fps very mild load no pressure at all with adi 2217 in 38 degrees Celsius
Norma cases 208 amaxs at 2830fps

My 300 Winnie shoots 215 Bergers with 75 gr of H1000 at 2753 out of a 27 inch barrel. Best group was .215 3 shot @ 100 yards. I want more speed so I'm thinking about re chamber to 30 NOZ.
