I am loading 300 Win mag with 77.1 grains of H1000 @ 2870 FPS shooting a 200 Grain Berger Hybrid. It is grouping 5 shot groups at 110 yards .611" and 440 yards 2.5". I would like a little more velocity so what would be a powder to use? Also had my personal best Tuesday with 3 out of 4 hits at 900 yards on a 12" plate. Group of the hits was about 7.25". Longest previous best was 675 Yards. Still got a long way to go though.

20, have you played with seating depth? Other powders?

No, I plan on messing with seating depth soon. As far as powders go I have tried 7828 along with 4350. Accuracy wasn't there.

You're going to be trading problems. Rl 22, 25, 26 and retumbo will all likely get you more speed. But the RL powders aren't as temp stable as H1000. And I've never had any success with retumbo with regards to accuracy.

That's what I figured. I wanted to be at 3000 fps was my original goal.

How long is the barrel? How many rounds through it?

I haven’t found this with Retumbo. The 300 WM I most recently worked a load up for is getting es less than 10, and shooting .5 MOA so far out to 800. I believe (don’t have my notes with me) I’m getting ~2890 with a 24” barrel with that load pushing a 210 Berger VLD. Overall, with the 300 WM, it’s hard to beat H1000 though IMO.

RL26 will get you to the speed you’re looking for, it’s worth a try for yourself. I’ve had good luck with it at varying temps.

It may speed up soon, or it might just be a little slower barrel. I run 200gr eldx over 76.9gr H1000 at 2936 out of a 24" Savage. R26 will get you some more velocity.

I don't understand, another 100 fps won't get you anything. It's all about the accuracy and ES. You seem to have it.

I am shooting the 215 hybird with 77.5 of H-1000 and getting 2958 for speed that sound very low for that bullet

If me I would leave the powder and the charge alone for now and work on seating depth. Get the correct depth and improve your accuracy. Speed is great to have but bullet on target is what it’s all about.

Your barrel might still speed up if it only has a 100 rounds through it. I’m right at 3000 fps out of a 26” Brux with H1000 and a 215 Berger. I agree with others, leave it the way it is if it’s shooting good. No need for 100 or 150 fps more if it’s shooting good.
