Ok whats a basic custom? I've been a fan of 700s and their workability to tune them to a degree a cost that basically makes them cost prohibitive. The key is knowing where to put your money in doing so. Here is a good example. Took a safe queen 700 LA earlier non-RR series, factory barrel outta Illion NY. She got fluted, extractor, knob, on tbe bolt and checked bolt face to raceway, was pretty true. Put a new Trigger Tech Primary and a new HS Precision Stock with an alum bedding block.
