300 win mag, 220 grn Partitions

Not really a "Long Range" load, but my Ruger M77 300 winnie really loved the 220 grn Partitions.

66.5 grn IMR 4350
WLRM primers
ww cases
220 grn Partitions
velocity 2710 fps (85F ambient temps, so likely less during hunting season)

Two other groups measured 0.8, and 0.74 :cool:

At 100 yards those heavy bullets with long bearing surfaces have often delivered more accuracy than their high BC counterparts. I've seen it happen in many calibers.

The 220 Partition and 300 Winchester go very well together, when used at short to moderate range.

Hopefully, you've got something planned this fall for them.
