The BERGER 215 Target Hybrid seems to be the bullet of choice. If you need some load data for the 200 HYBRID Target or 200.20X Hybrid Target bullet ( they both use the same load data.) Please contact us at [email protected] is best.

Im going to try the 200.20x. I couldn't get the 215 to group well at 200 yards. Im kinda bummed cause I love the performance on elk out of my old 300.

How so? What load testing did you do?

I was shooting three shot groups. I tried a few loads of 7828ssc and h1000 at various seating depths. I guess i figured I got lucky the first time with my old 300. I'm deffentlly open to suggestions

Start at .015 OFF THE LANDS. Then WORK BACK INTO THE CARTRIDGE CASE IN .005 INCREMENTS. effects of bullet seating depth can be found here: http://www.bergerbullets.com/effect...coal-and-cartridge-base-to-ogive-cbto-part-1/

Any bullet seating depthtesting should be done at the lowest powder charge listed for the bullet/powder/cartridge combination you are testing. Once the bullet seating depth accuracy node is found. Work rthe powder charge back up slowly checking for pressure signs and accuracy until your highest velocity accuracy node is found.

I have not tried them yet. I get 2950 avg out of the 215's! if these 215's don't end up grouping I'm going to order the 200.20x.
