.300 Weatherby vs .300 RUM

The 300 RUM can have as much freebore as a Weatherby.
Long bearing surface bullets seem to help me find a node in my Weatherby a lot easier.
 
Thanks for the input iam taken it to a Smith so he can tell me if the barrels good as sugested by another forum member and ic so i will the 300 bee if not iam stil

Like Feenix said, the .30 Lara is a great option. I have a custom .300 Ackley, which is very similar to his .30 Lara. I use .300 Wby brass to form cases for mine. Easy to find brass, and the 40º shoulder and low wall taper has it's own advantages, along with the added powder capacity and advantage over the standard .300 Wby. Might be worth looking into.
