300 Weatherby Pet Loads

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has any accuracy pet loads for the 300 Weatherby? I have a particular interest in using Sierra Matchkings from about 180g and up. I shoot it single shot, so the freebore isnt a problem because I can 'load em long'. I appreciate any and all inputs!!!

Hello

For my Williamsport 1000 yard 300 Weatherbys, I like to use 75.5 Grs of H4831 and the 220 Gr Sierra. All my 300 Weatherbys have 30" barrels and not factory freebore.
Another good load for my rifles is 77 Grs of RL22 and the 220 Gr Sierra.

Those loads also work well with 210 Bergers

Why do you use a 220 instead of a 240 for BR competition? Why do you use a .300 Weatherby?
