I have no experience with any of the UltraMags so I have no specific info, sorry.

I called about my 338 Ultra Mag today and was told it'll be here within 2 weeks, I'll be learning about this, perhaps on my own also.

boyd,i know a fellow that shoots an ultra mag with 240 sierras at 1k shoots here in pa with a 29" barrel.if mmory serves me correct he's getting around 2850 fps.i know hes using h-1000 .i think he said its a moderate load.jason
