I don't know the gun's you shoot,but with a brake on mine.I would rather shoot that than my 8.5 pound STW......Without the brake and with heavy bullet's recoil is pretty stiff.....If you are not recoil shy,you should be fine....I'm only 5'7" and 140 pound's and I don't mind it much....
