hi all, first post here.

have a .300 RUM sendero, and am trying to find a the O.A.L. so i can start reloading.

i just got my hornady o.a.l. gauge and the modified .300 case and tried it out.

i came up with 3.788, duplicated with a second measurement

does this seem long?

the max O.A.L. i have seen most is 3.600

thanks - BS

Bigshooter, sounds about normal for a rem sendero from what i've seen....mine was just about the same as yours....but it shot very well!!!!....so shoot it and see how she does...you might be suprisedgun)
Or have the box lengthened and...

WSlayman, thanks for the reply.

yes it does shoot very well, with factory ammo and my moderate skills i can get 2" groups at 200.

i'm just starting to reload for it as the prices for factory stuff is like $4 a round nowadays (and i really want to get into reloading).

is it possible to get an accurate load recipe that will fit inside the magwell?, or should i just got to something longer and top load them all?.

thanks -
