300 rum scope

i have a 300 rum LA and want a better scope
i currently have the bushnell banner 4x12 and i want something that comes in just as clear if not better for under 350$ also more powerful but yet 4-x
i would like to be able to see a paper plate around 800 yrds-if they make a scope
with around a 50-60 mm
does anyone know how far a 24 power can be able to see to shoot a plate?
