What's the weigh of your set-up approximately? And the brake? What distances are you shooting? Not be cocky but it’s one badass gun….it kills like a laser, this was taken with a 200 grain accubond, he went one leap.
It seems your rigs are light weight compared to a number of others on the site. Also your muzzle brakes are , shall we say ,not the most effective and yet recoil doesn't seem to be an issue. Some people are able to tolerate recoil, others not.Maybe 4 lbs or so, I’ve got the T’SOB mount on it with 3 or 4 rings. It’s just a multi ported brake that’s screwed on…SSK brake. With my contender in 338 JDJ (a 444 marlin case necked down) I killed my best bull at 300 yards, using a 200 grain hornady. I’ve shot several deer and antelope at 400 and a wee bit further. I sight 3” high at 100 with all my single shots. Pics are 407 yard antelope and 379 yard coyote. My Encore 338 win mag is getting tested more extensively starting this year
It's great that you stay fit.It carries over into everything you do.I’m a 64 year old ex powerlifting guy and currently work out 5 days a week, health nut, eat clean…no drinks or smoking. I’m still very strong and fit….not boasting just the way it is. Anyway, not much into the frills, 2x7, 3x9, currently running several 3x12, all Burris pistol scopes, no bi pod, etc. just basic bigger calbers and lots of shooting. I just retired so I’ll really be hammering the animals now. If you need specifics on any of my stuff, I’ll shoot you my cell. Be glad to help if I can? I got all kinds of wildcat pistols
