After doing a ladder test with N570 last week, I loaded up a few groups to test this weekend. Below are the results:

300 Rum
375 yards
N570
Nosler brass
215M
Loads 89.5, 89.8, and 90.1

where was the wind ?
looks like it stopped in the last group
all show elevation issues.
it it the nut behind the wheel ?
or is more powder required

Wind was from left to right but variable... it should not have moved the bullet too much.

I had some mirage and mirage off my suppressor. I felt pretty good on the gun but know there is some human error for sure.

This was the first Groups I've tried with n570. The 89.5 looked promising besides that one low shot. The vertical would be great without that one.

I have seen quite a few of your pictures from testing. I have a feeling that your trying to push things to fast. If your lowest charge shot the best, you should drop 1.5 grains and work back up.

Depending on if your top charge was over pressure or not I would either keep going up from 90.1 or start working down from 89.5 and see how it trends.

Just some advice from my own hard learned lessons...the 300 RUM has plenty of HP. Unless you're consistently pushing your limits at 1500yds+ work down from 89.5 and find a consistent load. Save yourself some barrel and brass life.

Keep us posted on how you make out.

Thanks for info from all... I just like sharing results and brainstorming on next steps.

I got pressure signs around 91.3 so I believe I'll try to fine tune the 89.5 or go down a little from there. I'm wish my chronograph would have worked so I had more info about SD and ES but it wasn't working right this time due to light conditions.

There is another node around 86-87 but really trying to get the most FPS I can squeeze out of this round.

Nosler doesn't take hot loads very long from what I've experienced.

I'd go in same incremental step down from 89.5 and see what you get.

Yeah the Nosler brass seems real soft. I noticed that real quick. I'm sure I'll purchase some new brass in the near future but going to try to use what I have for now.

I shot two more loads today to help determine a load for loading. These were shot a little closer at 250 yards. I like the 88.5. I just bought some ADG brass so will have to start over but these look good. 89 group has X marks.
