300 rum load

I just got a 300 rum with a 1in8 twist barrel, getting ready to reload but am debating on bullets I've been looking at the 210 long range accubonds and the berger been looking at the 245 eol. Has anyone worked up a load with any of these.

Neither of those particular bullets. However my sons RUM absolutely loves berger 190's pushed by H1000. ES and SD both under 5 and he has shot steel out to 1400 cold bore with it. I can't remember the exact data but I have it wrote down if you're interested.

If I could have found some 245 I would've bought them, I was lucky enough to find the 230s

Depending on your ranges, an ultralight mono may be an option too. Or something in the 180grain range.

I didn't build a RUM to shoot lightweights at close range though.

I dont that light of a bullet, I'm planning on using this for 600 to 1000

230 OTM with 89.9 grains Retumbo Fed 215 26" barrel = 2,980 fps at standard mag length
