300 RUM Build Questions

Thinking of building a 300 RUM, thinking 28" barrel 1-9 or 9.5 twist for monos. So what is the consensus on barrel contour #5 or #6 Brux? Want the barrel to have enough stiffness and enough weight to help with recoil but not so heavy it needs wheels. Carbon wrapped barrels are not an option.
