300 prc starting point

Ok guys, now that I found some berger 215 hybrids what would be a good starting load to try.
Will be shooting out of a CA mesa long range so ill only be able to load them as long as the mag box. Off hand I can't remember what that lenght is.

Kinda depends on what powder you have, and if you don't already have something on-hand, it may be a challenge to get anything given the powder shortages.

You can probably find lrt and do ok for starters. Western powders has load data for starting loads. Rl26 sounds like the fastest. H1000 works pretty good for most, I found pressure early in my same ca long range with 212's.

I've seen MagPro around lately too, but likely too fast.

Powder Valley has Accurate 5744 right now, but it's got a very large range on the Western chart. Might find more data for it around somewhere if you look. Kinda remind me of Trailboss from the article.
