A .300 Lapua is a .338 Lapua necked down to 30 caliber.

A 338 Lapua necked down to a 30 cal is close but not exactly the same as a 300 Lapua. A 300 has a slightly steeper shoulder than a 338.

Where in Idaho are you located? How many rounds fired? How big is the barrel...what's the rifle weigh? Interested in more pics. I'll pm u my number. I'm in boise

Edd I owned one that Greg Tannel built and did not know that there was a difference in the shoulder. I sold my rifle and die with components last year it was nick named the laser beam. At just over a mile it held 3 shots just under 8". The break in group at 1060 yards measured 2.316" 3 shot. There was a picture posted on Tannel's web site and one at Lilja. It had a 34" barrel. I guess I miss it a little. Best 30 cal I ever owned.

#5 contour
It's about 81/2 lbs
Not really interested in trades guess just depends on what you have.
