I own a 300 Jarrett with a 25" 12 twist barrell. My favorite weight bullet for whitetail deer is 165 grains. Nosler ballistic tips, accubonds, and the Berger 168 grain VLD bullets always shoot sub .5 MOA. I have never been able to get the 165 grain Scirocco II to do any better than 1.5 MOA. Any suggestions, or does my barrell just not like that particular bullet?
