300 Dakota owners ?

This is for guys who own a 300 Dakota. Who was the smith that built it for you and what action did you use? I would like to build one and am looking for alittle info. Thanks for any info. Kirk

My father opted for a Lawton 7000 which I wouldn't recommend. He has a personal friend who shoots PPC competition and builds a few guns on the side build it for him.

The smith that built mine was Matt French, he now lives in Ca. Built it on the Mark 10 actiongun)

built a wildcat on the 300 dakota case used a predator action kirby did the smithing

You might want to look at the 300 SIN Devin is working on at Sinarms. It is like a big improved Dakota. I am using Dakota brass in my 338 version. A good 200 fps advantage over the Dakota.
