30 sherman magnum

Any issues with a carbon ring or fouling from rl33? I have thought about trying it in my nm but don't know if I should. So rl33 is getting better velocity than n570?
No issues yet but we'll see?
RL33 usually gets a little more velocity in cases where you can pressure it out but N570 isnt too far behind with about 5-6 grains less charge.

This was formally the 300 PRC S.I. for those who missed it.
I got out a couple days ago to do some more testing and the mirage shooting over the bright snow was terrible so I couldn't really accomplish as much as I wanted to. I did get some velocities and enough data to make another run on a couple loads when conditions warrant.
I ran some 225 eldm's at 3059 with N570 that showed potential
I also shot some 215 Bergers at 3167' that also looked like they need more testing.
Below are pics of the brass which didn't show any over pressure and a pic of the 215 Berger group. I think in better condition this load would cut a single hole.View attachment 127740 View attachment 127741
Dear Elk, have you done any formal PSI analysis on your Loads?

Rhovee was this for a 28 Nosler? Barrel length and bullet weight? I was looking to do a 28 nosler or 28sherman,
Right now my 7/300 with 25" 8.5T with 180s I'm running 3187fps at a high node That's 74.2 H1000 with Fed215

You should run 215's and H1000 up to pressure and see how it compares to 30/28 Nosler. My accuracy load was 86 grains H1000 for 3106 average. Pressure was 3140 at 87 grains

The 30/28 Nosler is a 28 Nosler case necked up to 30 Cal. This was originally done to achieve higher volume from a 30 Nosler. It gave about 3 grains more capacity than a 30 Nosler. With ADG brass now, a 30 Nosler can typically handle the pressure needed for higher node.

Here is some data from a Satterlee test at 100 yards followed by a Ladder test at 375 using the same loads.
The ladder had shifting winds which accounted for the horizontal spread.

Has anyone shot or have any data for the 28 Sherman mag? From what I can tell it's the 30sm necked down to 28. Wondering about velocities with the 195 and barrel life as well but I can't find any info. Is there a page that I can't find on it?
