You guessed it...can't decide what my next .30 cal magnum should be. Trying to consider everything as a whole as far as velocity, energy, brass availability, reloading sensitivity, etc. I'm also tossing around other 30 magnums but I keep coming back to these three. Any recommendations or thoughts?

300NMI or 300 Lapua Improved are better options, if not a 300 RUM trumps the other 3. I have several 300WM rifles and a RUM.
The 300WM really does it all, BUT if you want more oomph, then only the Nosler or RUM are the answer when it all boils down to on game performance. The PRC has no real advantage over the WM.

Cheers.

Unless your a buy a box of factory ammo a year guy I would let factory option sway my decision. People better realize after this fiasco you better reload because IF it gets better there will be another and being able to tune ammo to your gun is a way better option anyway.

Realizing that my 300RUM was just too much of a good thing, I rebarreled my magnum action with a 30Nosler Bartlein bbl. With the reduction in recoil I opted to do without a brake on this hunting rifle. While I have plenty of 30Nosler brass that shoots well, the new(er) ADG brass is now available.
I'm very happy with the changeover.

I always reload everything so factory ammo isn't a factor. Just wondering if you noticed one burns more efficiently than the other or anything like that. I'd like to stay away from a RUM as I just don't quite need that much horsepower. Also at least in my area, everybody and their kitchen sink reloads so finding dies is always an issue. Obviously the WM is gonna be the most available as far as dies and brass go but what are the other runner ups?

Well I went down this path. All of the above are correct. The thing I gravitate to is availability of components. WM is gonna be king in that aspect. WM ain't loosing ground to fps to the prc hardly at all. That's been proven time and time again. The nosler will gain you a little more fps. The prc is built to reload. But if you happy with shooting up to 215's then I say stick with WM. I had at one time a 300 prc, 30 nosler and a WM. Now I have 3 WM's and no others. Same components to use. I shoot 215's in two of them at 3,020' with a 26", 2,940' in a 22" suppressed and one shoots 230's otm's at 2,920' with 26". H1000 and N570. My vote with all you have eluded to would be the WM.

Got a buddy that just went this route. Ended up going 300PRC, like many others obviously. and while the shelves are stocked with 300wm ammo and brass, they're bare of 300PRC ammo and components so not only can he not find the components he needs to reload his 300PRC, he can't find ammo either. He wishing he would've stuck with his 300wm right about now. Granted, powder is tough to find regardless but atleast quality factory ammo is available and abundant for the 300wm in a pinch.

Personally I don't think the performance gain is worth the struggle. 300wm will make it happen.

I currently have a 7mag but want a big 30 as well, so I'm gonna go 300NM or 300NM Imp for mine
