Got my XP-100 out the other day for a bit. 406 yd shot at a plate. I could only see half the plate due to a roll in the terrain and how I had positioned the steel.

The little red X is where I was aiming. Two shots and one impacted the edge. Impact of the two shots was about 2" high. I have my gun set with 100 yd zero, and estimated that load at just over 2800 fps. It may be closer to 2850 fps. I need to chrono it.

Just need to find a place to get out to 600 yds now.

Back in the day...I used to shoot the 400 yard gong at the range with my 6" Model 29 with irons...so yeah we can do good work with a pistola when one is practiced up:)

Buttermilk head over to Houston Missouri. You can shoot from 100 - 600 yards off a nice covered concrete Bench. We have 4 x 4 target stands at all yardages for paper targets, and Steel from 200 yards out. On Friday and Saturday evenings we have a nice Mom & Pop restaurant just up the road that has all you can eat Catfish. :)
