30 cal on 416 rigby

any one ever play with the 30 cal. on the 416 rigby case in hunting or just casual target shooting.saw a article in a hunting magazine several years ago .also there were some people up Williamsport way using them on deer and elk out west.

It would essentially be a 30-378 Weatherby. Something like the 300 Pegasus or 7.82 Warbird would be similar as well.

.30 Cody Express (.30-416 Rigby) is about 127 grains approximately.

.300 Norma Mag. is 104 grains approximately.

.30-338 Lapua Improved is about 125 grains approximately.

.30-378 Weatherby is about 134 grains approximately.

The best case currently available is the 37XC at 137 grain capacity necked down to .30 caliber. This is a modern case designed by David Tubb and manufactured by Peterson.
