30 cal 230 gr berger's for Elk,any input appreciated

New to the site guys, so excuse my question if it has already been discussed.Len is building me a 300 RUM and I am going to use the 230gr Berger out of it.
I had seen one fella that took the 210's and the 230's apart and the only diff was a grand on wall thickness and the lead internally was a squared off in the 230's.

Question is...Any real world experience on performance on elk at 600 plus?
