30-378 weatherby load data

Hello fellow LRS. Im working on loading for my 30-378 and was wondering if any one has loaded the Barnes 200gr LRX BT in their 30-378. Any info or load data would be helpful. Im going to work up loads in retumbo h50bmg and h1000.

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread. Been thinking about that bullet, but need to work up a load for the 215 Berger first.

Try some H870, that's what my Uncle uses in his with a 190gr SMK.

I haven't shot the Barnes bullet, but I have shot the 200 gr. SMK. My most accurate load is 117 gr of H50BMG (OAL 3.645" & WLRM primer).

I also used 118 gr. of US869 with 200 gr. Accubonds and had respectable results. Same OAL and primer.

All shots were from a Weatherby Accumark.

Hey tomt!

I've been using 98 grains of H1000 with the 210 Berger VLD target. Less than 1 MOA. If I was 30 years younger I could probably shave a little more off that.

2d, great accuracy with the "Broz" load of H 1000, 210 Berger and 215M primer in my 30/378 Mark V 26". Will soon try his load for the 215 and 230 Bergers, but the 210's shoot so well I hesitate. Good luck
