30/375 S.I. with IMR 8133

I haven't posted much on my 30 for a while with everything else going on but I wanted to try some of the new 8133 in it behind a 225 ELDM. This was with my formed 8x68 RWS brass. Burning rate is very similar to N570.
The load was pretty moderate as it will reach 3100+. The old gal still shoots pretty well for 1500 rounds through her!

how does it compare to N570 for case fill? I ran out of room on my 30-338 rum imp. it was keeping up with RL-33 for velocity till I ran out of room. 8133 is much better for temp sensitivity than RL-33. 57-85 degrees was 12 fps and SD was 5-8.

Thx guys it fills the case a little faster than 570 . Maybe 2 grains?

ran out of room without reaching velocity/pressure in my 338 PRO with IMR 8133 and the 270 gr Badlands Super Bulldozer, of course the long bullets were seated deep into case at 3.685" coal to allow clearance for the pointy aluminum tip to run worry free in Accurate mags, robbing capacity and creating compressed loads way before any decent pressure was generated for anticipated velocity, accuracy was around 1/2" at 100 yards but velocity was a paltry 2625 ave. for 3 shots, it appears that 8133 may be bit too slow and bulky for the 338 NM Imp and 270 gr bullets, last year I worked up to 3100 fps using the 265 gr Barnes LRX bullet and RL26 that stacked them into one hole and still had room for powder with the same 3.685" coal

Might be a good powder in your 30 cal wildcat! Which powders run best in your 30s?

how does your 30/375 SI compare to the 30 PRC??.. dimensions wise.

I think it's .215". It has a .320" neck which needs to factor in that equation.

So whats your compiled data using your go to powders (for people that havent followed closely) like H1000, Retumbo, N570, RL33, and 8133.

It would be a good list for people comparing calibers and powder differences.
