The 300 wheeler maintains the 230 Hybrid in the neck shoulder junction and still runs in a 4.0" mag. It's about 3.900. So could also run in a Unknown DBM. I tried the 245's and like the 230's better. Shot a 1.89" group at 600 last week.

All that work for .090 oal ?
I guess it makes more sense than necking up a 28 Nos for 1.5 -2 grains of additional capacity.
It'd actually be kinda cool to neck the RUM down, bump the shoulder back a tad, and blow it out to 40 degrees

Curious why you'd neck the 338 down vs going with a straight 300 RUM?
