284 - reloading question

XM length action bartlein 9 twist 5r at 25" (11lbs)
162 AMAX over 52 gr rl-17 3.150 coal shoots one hole and runs 2875 (only have 25 rounds through this barrel-that will change drastically very soon!)
143 HH over the same charge (no change in seating die or anything) went .3 (haven't chrono'd that yet)
150 TTSX 51.7 gr rl17 (pistol load-xp100- bartlein 5r 9 twist 16") goes .3 all day (haven't chrono'd this one either)
Ive tried 4831 and 4350....rl17 is just magic for my two.

I have a 284 on a LA 700, one load I found to be decent was a 130 BTSP Speer at 3100+
284 long action 1:8 twist brux. I get the 177 hammer hunters at 2850fps, 180 berger hybrids at 2805fps, 175 ELDX at 2800fps, 168 barnes LRX at 2930fps. All using H4831sc or R23. All tested accurate loads with no pressure signs. What brass are you going to use? I can only use winchester brass or Hornady. The neck section of the reamer needs to be a touch bigger if you want to use norma brass. They have very thick necks campaired to winchester.
8 twist 26" good for hammers and 175 bergers.
