Got my elk this morning. Cow calf pair came in to 250yds. Opted for the calf. Already have more than enough meat with the moose so figured I'd go with the veal. 
. Couldn't have asked for a better setup from my friends father in law.
Had a nice shooting lane at 420yd, and a sweep of a long path at 250.
