You definitely have plenty of excellent choices on barrel makers. On grooves, I meant 3, 4, or 6-grooves, 5-R (types of rifling),, etc.

24" if canned or braked, otherwise 26" non braked
Mine is a 26", no brake. It's a little long for heavy cover but not terrible at all. I built it for some longer range hunting and killed the first buck at 12 yards and the second at 95. My buddy borrowed it and killed a stud at 35 yards. She can really reach out there. Go figure...LOL
