28 Nosler - Best Hunting Bullets?

I have used a 28 Nosler for 3 years hunting with Berger 195 eol. I have shot 3 elk 2ea 6x6 (540yds,860 yds),1 ea 7x8 (1020 yds )all dropped in there tracks. No issue with the bullet as far as performance, I open the point of the bullet with a small drill just to make sure they open as designed. I have used this rifle in Alaska on caribou at long range with great success using the 195.

I've shot Berger 168, 175 and now 195 EOL bullets. Kept going up in bullet weight as im hunting mule deer and elk and been searching for the perfect bullet. 2 elk last year with 195's but you almost never find much of the bullets, just fragments. I watched a show with Steve's outdoor adventures and he did bullet comparisons, very impressed with the eld-x bullet. I believe you can YouTube it. One thing about the bergers, they are extremely accurate!

I have a sample size of "one" on my 28 Nosler.

I used a Hornady 166 A-TIP running 3331 fps MV and shot a buck at 30 yds broadside behind the shoulder.

Complete penetration with a good size exit.

I would use the same bullet again.
