No, these would not be the best LR bullet for this cal.
I shoot 150gr SST's. Sierra makes a 150gr MK I believe.
The heavier the bullet, the higher the BC and that matters at LR. Just have a look at different bullet manf and you will see their wares.
Never shot the Accubond but expect good performance on target and game.

I'll second the ABs. I am shooting 58 gr MagPro with the 140 ABs. I have not been able to get any 150 gr bullets to shoot under 1.5" at 100 yards. I have tried six or seven powders to no avail. The 140 ABs go into nice little cloverleafs.

What velocity are you getting w/the 140s and MagPro. Am shooting 140s and 58gr RL-22.

I shot it up to 3050ish, but was getting excessive pressure and overly compressed loads. The load that shot the best is just shy of 2900 fps. I'm not sure, but I think its going to be temp sensitive.
I am going to retry MagPro with the 150 NPs with a 9.5M primer instead of the GM210M primers. Its a slow ball powder, and its hard to get it all to burn up. I think the powder fouling was affecting my previous attempts with the 150s. I discovered how much fouling there was after the fact when I cleaned it. Just FYI.

As a long time .277 underdog shooter out at competition meets. (Nobody , but me ever shows up with a .277 target rifle) I have not ever seen the value in the 135's Logic should have told the manufacturer that 140-160 grain would have been a wiser weight. all I can think of is they were going for the standard twist rifles.
