So its wh270 Longole different cartridge with fast twist, longer barrel and longer throat. So why not give this old cartridge a catchy name for it. We have the .270AI so I think we need something to separate it from the standard cartridge. I am calling my new one .270 Heavy, got .270 Fatboy as suggestion. I am pretty sure the name was for the cartridge, I hope.

The "270 twister" seem to fit. To add a little more powder it go to a 280AI case length. It's a little longer to the shoulder to be able to add more powder into the case.

Btw I run this cartridge simple 270 chamber .01 added to throat 1:9 twist. Shoots 4in group at 1000y -
