Just got a nice deal on a Mark v set up . In 270 Roy gonna reload my ammo loading a magnum charge of Imr 7828 according to nosler reloading manual. Should be getting close to 3500 fps with 130 grain bullet looking at nosler partition or Hornady sst for deer . Shooting from 50 to bout 400 yards

I like RL22 with light bullets in the 270Bee. I have not gotten back to it for a while but would like to work up with RL26. I have always gotten better accuracy from 22 over 7828 with very similar velocities. Not too much trouble getting 130 Partitions, Accubonds, Sciroccos, and TTSX to 3400FPS with good performance. Inside of 400 yards You may get some pretty good bruising from SSTs, B-Tips, Gamekings and even Partitions. The front end of those 130 Partitions open pretty quick. If that doesn't bother you, they are impressive killers. Roy's 270 is a gem. There just isn't much it won't do.

If you want a laser that will do it all, try the 117 Hammer Hunter. I have a ton of experience with them in the 270 Weatherby as I own three of them with many first hand results on deer and elk and other large game. Feel free to PM me if you'd like details.

If you have the right twist, consider the 170 Berger. If I do my part, my .270 AI propels the 175 Mar at 2993 FPS (reached near 3100 FPS but group opened up and with pressure) with H4831SC and gets .5-.75 MOA to 966Y. Others are reporting ~100 FPS more with RL-26. Your .270 WBY with more powder capacity should outperform my AI.

all I can find is 150 accubond

I think that the 150gr Accubond would be a great choice .
I have a Weatherby Mark V in .270 Weatherby Magnum with a 26"barrel that I load the 150gr Nosler Partitions , using 72gr of Norma MRP powder , CCI 250 magnum primers , and Weatherby brass .
I am getting a muzzle velocity of 3305 FPS from the 26" factory barrel .
I have attached a Norma reloading chart for Weatherby cartridges , and Norma lists 72.8gr as max for the 150gr bullet .

The Hammers have really been phenomenal in the 270 WBY, with all the free bore they can be kinda difficult to get dialed in but the Hammers grouped up easy!!
