Trying to help a buddy out moving his beautiful Winchester model 70 CRF, 270 Weatherby 26" bbl, Leupold 3-9x40 vari x II, RCBS FL dies, and 96 pieces of Nosler brass and 58 pieces of Weatherby brass. Rifle shoots easy 3/4 MOA with 140g ABs at almost 3300fps. Would make someone a great deer slayer. Rifle and scope is in great condition. Not sure how many 270 Weatherbys were made in a model 70, but my guess is it was a limited run. He is asking $1000 for the whole package.

I have this same rifle and it is awesome! Not many made for sure and Mine is also an easy 3/4 Minute gun with a couple different bullets. This is a great deal if your a M70 Classic guy!

Quintus- If I didnt have a Rem 700 KS lightweight 24" 280 Rem I'd be all over it myself... I just cant justify having it when I have a lightweight 280 and a heavy 7-300 win mag. To much overlap for me. It would never get shot, just sit in the safe, which is what it's doing with the current owner. He has too many rifles and just looking to downsize. Someone else can use it, and appreciate it is what he said.

Parkj5- I'll run it by him, but I think hes mainly looking to sell at this point. I'll let you know in a PM though what he says when I hear back from him.
