265gr HAT Group

Here's a group I shot at 565yds with the 338HAT's. with my 338 Lapua Improved. These were the Gen I bullets.
I have some of of the Gen 3 bullets and will shoot them in the near future and post the results.

They are supposed to be a bit better than the Gen I.

You just couldnt hit that quarter could you! Maybe with the next Gen you will?

Thanks for the kind words. It's nice to get a tight group at 565yds, but I couldn't keep it inside the quarter.
I'll try to tighten it up with the next gens.
I can't wait to try them.
They also shot well at 1000yds with only 1.5-3" of verticle.
Laterally depends on how I read the wind of course-sometimes good sometimes not so good!

The best I've done at 565 is 1.18" with my 6.5WSSM and 123 scenars

What is the B.C on those? do you know what it is on the 3rd gen?

I'll shoot the Gen 3's and post the conditions and the drops and see if we can make any sense of it.
I'll just post the moa I have to dial in at various distances. I know it leaves alot to be desired but it will be the most practical thing I can do.
My scope is a Nightforce it does dial accurately, so far at least.
