Just got a Win. M70 Classic in .264WM and will be working up a load soon. Whitetail at 20-400yds. Always used 140gr. Sierras in my 6.5x55 with good results but got the .264 for speed, obviously. I always want a through and through pass through with my bullet. I am assuming with the Barnes TTSX excellent penetration and weight retention that I will not have any problems with penetration? Thinking I can get these North of 3500FPS?

I have a few 264WM's, never used such a lightweight bullet, but I see where you're going.
I have been thinking of trying these new Barnes TTSX bullets as I just picked up a box of 300 RUM 165g TTSX to try in my new RUM.
I was thinking 120g in a 264WM.
Maybe a 200g in a 300WM and the RUM down the road.
A pass through is almost guaranteed from a solid copper bullet, especially on broadside hits.
I just hope they are more accurate than the TSX's I tried in a 25-06 and 270 years ago. Couldn't keep 'em inside 5" @ 100 and I don't know why.

Cheers.
