I find myself in the same quandary, which 6.5 cartridge?

Matt, I also have a date for a long range shoot at the RR, Sept 23 but I have to check the calender at the shop to be sure, 600 and 880

6.5 LA build, which caliber?

for a long action, how would the 6.5x55 BJ improved compare to a 6.5x284 norma? Are the capacities pretty similar? Howabout a 6.5-06 or 6.5-06 improved...

I just picked up a savage 112 long action and I'm considering different a 24" or 26" prefit barrel for it...

Anyone who shoots these cartridges, please chime in here...
