260 question

Does anyone out there make a factory 260 with a 26" barrel? Preferably under $800.

Not that I know of. Remington used to make the 700VLS in .260 for a while, so you might be able to scrounge one up that way. Otherwise you might try getting a Savage heavy varmint rifle in .308, take off the factory barrel and sell it for what you can get, and stick on a pre-threaded and chambered .260 barrel from some place like Pac-Nor.
