can a 257 stw barrel be rechambered to a 257 weatherby mag?i found a good deal on a stw barrel with only a few shots down the pipe.

Yes, but it would involve cutting a little off the end of your barrel and re-threading since the 257 wby is shorter. Why not leave it a 257 STW?

well i will be hunting with it thats pretty much it. it is 27.5" long and can get around 300 once fired brass and dies with it for a good price.
