257 wby COAL with 110gr accubonds and 100gr barnes ttsx

If you buy the Hornady OAL Gauge, you can make your own modified case using a fired case.
Use a 0.282" - 0.289" diameter drill and a 5/16"-36 tap. It will fit the Hornady gauge. You can use them for all your cartridges.

Vanguard , not s2.

following up on this thread, have tried a few COAL and so far the furthest from the lands has worked best, but still 1" groups.

*Does anyone have a factory loaded 257 Weatherby 110gr accubond round they could measure the COAL/ogive length?

Thanks for the help!

I have a new box, but I have never opened them. A friend recommended I try the 115 Bergers and that's as far as I needed to go.

In my loading for this gun with the accubonds and in other guns, the bullets have been extremely consistent in their OAL and to the Ogive measurements.
