My 250-3000 shoots 87 Sierra and 85 Nosler (BT) Silvertips with equally accuracy.

Can I expect to see any significant difference in terminal performance at ... say ... 100 metres.

Terminal performance will be the same....dead critter. Since they both shoot well i would pick the one that is easiest to get / cheaper.
