.25 cal 131g .330G7 bullet from Blackjack Bullets for you to drool on ...

Thanks for the info. I was actually talking about the gun coming unwrapped. Does any one have any accuracy nodes for the 25-06 and 25-06AI?
What is the 257 Blackjack based on?
Thanks again Dave

25-06 runs very well at 3140-3170 and 3225 fps. AI I am not sure. Will it access one more node? Probably. The 131 at 3225 fps is not joking around but AI will keep you from trimming as much lol.

Edited post to reflect 25-06

I'd also like to know what speeds are accomplished with a 25-06AI. Got one that shoots the 115 Berger at 3350 fps. 26" Krieger.

There's a magazine writer who will be doing a piece on 25-06 AI for 131 ACEs, but no doubt the info reflected on the pages will be lawyer proof - and that should be expected and understood.

I may do a 25-06 AI at some point but have been more than happy with standard chambering for a long range low recoil hunting rifle. Going to field it for Mule Deer and maybe an Elk this fall if I can sneak away.

Any idea when the article on 25-06 ai will be out kind of interested in that next currently have a 25 creedmoor on a kimber being barreled by Blake

Not sure. Probably 3-4 months from the info I have. Nice to see something about high performance 25 cal in addition to the Trigger and Guns & Ammo spread on 25 Creedmoor.

The 25-06 AI will definitely launch the 131s at 3200-3275 fps if not more and if you're eyeing the cartridge for a rig, I say jump on in. The article won't change how awesome it is to shoot what people think to be somewhat outdated to a supersonic range of 1.25 miles : )

Blake's work is truly top shelf. Can't wait to see how you like the Kimber. That sounds like a killer mountain rifle unless it's one of their tactical rifles.

Anyone think of doing a 25-280ai? Being you can buy 280ai brass now. Would save on fire forming a bit. Probably run 3300ish

The 1st 50 rounds through the new 25 Creedmoor rifle, weren't too bad! The 41 gr H4350 load, while not tuned yet, showed promise, with just a barrel break-in procedure.
50 shots:
Avg vel - 2839 fps. From round 38 to 50, the barrel sped up into the high 2800's

Very Interesting. Some do not mind FF but others would rather go straight to the point. 257-280 Ackley sounds pretty cool too.

Everything's available and priced reasonably well. Velocities should be in the almost too hot zone, but just right for guys that like some speed.

If there was enough interest, I could spec and order 6-10 reamers. COAL with the 131 ACE setup well for capacity and length would be very near 3.499" or we could round up to 3.500" with 0.151" Freebore.
