i just finished some testing on some berger 115 gr bullets in my savage 25-06. i am using H4831 with a weight of 51.5 grs. they are set right at the rifling but do not really touch. the results for now are .5 for 3 shots at 110 yds. i have more testing to do but for now i like it. i load for 3 25-06's and they all really like H4831 or the (sc) version. H4350 also works with Nosler 100 gr bullets. i hope this helps. have fun. Bear.

I'm also using a Ruger M77 heavy barrel and loading 50 grains of IMR 4350 behind 117 grain Hornady BTSPs. It's giving me great groups at about 3000 FPS and they are wicked on antelope.

I've got a pair of 25/06's, an A Bolt 2 ss and a t/c prohunter ss. My best load for both is 50.5gr H4831sc in hornady brass lit by a cci LR and pushing either the nosler 115gr BT or the Hornady 117gr SST. The t/c shoots a .45 5shot average with the SST and .52 5 shot avg. with the BT. The A Bolt shoot .78 avg 5 shot groups with the BT and .87 with the SST. Haven't chrony'd it out of the Browning but I'm getting 2991 avg +/- 15fps out of the 28" Pro hunter. I pushed both guns hotter and just lost accuracy...I suppose the deer don't notice the 150fps slower bullet because they have ALL been DRT! My averages aren't just a smattering of samples either, they're developed over about 200 rds. out of each gun and got to the point of being boringly repeatable so I don't chrony them or measure them much any more. I played around with a few other bullets and powders and this seems to be the ticket for these guys..helped having the BOSS on the brownig to tune it in too!

nope never tried that one was going to but the bc on the 115 BT's is higher.
I have good load for the 85, 100 gr BT's and now the 115 gr
also the 75 gr vmax

I use 57.5grns re25 in win brass with br-2s for that bullet at 3.315". Get some of that, load up a few and put em through your chrony:D
i am playing with re-25 right now and its good stuff for the 25-06 and 7mm rem mag, 57gr with br-2 primer is 3080s short barrel 22inch, 162 a-max at 69.7gr cci 250 =3120 all with very little shot to shot fps change, think i found my new 25-06 powder, going to work up to 58gr if possible with win nickel brass br-2 primers and ct-115 boat tail .453 bc should be a good plinker out to 1000 yds.

My Ruger 25-06 loves 115 gr. Nosler's, 52 grs. of H4831, just over 3,000 fps, extremely accurate.
