243AI powder?

Jared, those powders are too fast. Try something with a slower burn rate and you can pick up 100 to 200 fps.

H4831SC is a bit to fast to get the velocity im looking for. I would look towards RL-25 or N170 If using RL-25 try to get a lot that was made this year.
This lot of RL-25 is a bit slow than the last lot that I had. The last lot was a bit temperature sensitive which it was an older lot. The lot im working with now was made this year. 1/9/03
N170 looks promising but the RL-25 has been my favorite. below is my favorite load.
49.7gr RL-25
Lupua brass
Federal 210 match primers
JLK 105s on the lands.
Lilja 8" twist 29" HV 3 grove.... 3345fps at 72°>Oehler P35
Krieger 8" twist 28.5 3280fps at 71°>Oehler P35
Rifle configuration.
243 Ackley Imp. (.271) NK Chamber Reamer from Dave Manson which is throated .075 for the 105 VLDs
Farley "S" action and Farley 30mm rings.
2 Krieger 8" twist 28.5" HV,& Lilja 8" twist 29" HV
Jewell Trigger.
Leupold 18x40 LR boosted & 1/16 MOA dot on 40x by Premier Reticles
Dave Bruno did the Chambering of the barrels.
I did the stock work and the Sikken Viper Race Yellow Paint and clear
Jewell 1.5oz BR trigger. Bat Machine Stainless Trigger guard
Shehane McMillan ST-1000 stock from Bill Shehane (D&B Supply)
Shehane TRACKER polished billet aluminum buttplate
Weight 16.5 lbs.
