After extensive load testing with the 230 hybrid target in my 27" Rum, 87.5 grains of H1000 produces 2980 with around 13ES and 7SD. 88 grains of Retumbo produced 2950 with high ES. These are both hot loads but at roughly the same chamber pressures, the H1000 is superior in this rifle. Unfortunately the 230's won't shoot under 1 MOA consistently in my rifle. My theory is that my 1in10 is not quite enough to fully stabilize at this velocity at sea level, at least that is my gunsmith's opinion. I realize Berger says 1in10 is ok. The 215 hybrids are in the mail, I'll see if they work better. Velocity at distance will be better with the 215's and they will be real close energy wise to the 230's.
