224 TTH question

What size action would you recommend building a 224 tth on - short or long?
Not looking to sling light bullets at warp speed, or long heavy VLD types 1000 yards.
I'm thining along the lines of 75 gr A-Max's. A middle of the road load with a 1-9 twist.
This would primarily be a 500 yd coyote meat grinder.

I used a short action, which worked well. If I built another one I would use the long action to allow for longer length on loaded round.
