How many people use magnum primers for there .223?

I have heard in sub 0 weather they are beneficial any one agree?

I have only ever used CCI 400 so I don't know it does regularly get in the negative temperatures here and I will soon be making an order of 5000 and was wondering if I should go mag.

I hunt quite a bit in sub zero temperature and have not had this happen. I have seen rifles and shot guns fail to fire in sub zero weather, but it's the hardening of the oils in the firearm almost always causing the failure. I believe that the ammo will very often, wrongfully take the wrap. I think that the type of lubrication used, is a far greater concern that requires attention when hunting in freezing weather. I would stick with the primer that produces the best results for the typical conditions you hunt in and be sure to use a low temp lube in your rifle. iMHO.
